For over forty-five years, C & E Excavating has been one of the premier earthwork and utility companies in North Central Indiana and Southwestern Michigan. We implement commercial, municipal and state projects requiring precision excavating expertise.
At C & E, you can earn while you learn valuable skills that can never be outsourced. Our experienced foremen build strong teams, outfitting them with the right tools and equipment for the job at hand and training those new to the industry with safe and efficient best practices through “hands-on” experience. Training new employees is a shared process across the entire company.
Our Apprentice Program, accredited by the US Department of Labor, provides an educational path to prepare Laborers for Operator positions. The result is an Associate of Science Career/Tech Degree. Additionally, safety training and equipment operation training is a constant activity at C & E.
You’ll be working for managers that know what it’s like to do your job. Our leadership team – from Estimators, Project Managers, Civil Engineers, to the President – all have field experience to help guide foremen and crews through the most challenging projects.
